Rabbi's Summer Book Series  

  Rabbi Gross's Summer Book Series "Fathers and Daughters" Continues
September 9, 2008
7:00 p.m.

Philip Roth's American Pastoral, will be the fourth title addressed by Rabbi Gross in a Summer NextBook series entitled "A Mind of Her Own: Fathers and Daughters in a Changing World." All sessions convene one Tuesday a month at the North Broward Regional Library in Coconut Creek - come straight from work with a brown-bag supper!

Food Closet Donations Needed  


WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!!   

Food is flying off our Food Closet shelves.  

Your generosity helps keep our food closet stocked. 

We need specific food staples in canned or plastic jarred foods only. 

We cannot accept packaged goods in paper, card board or foil.  

 

Don’t forget to bring at least a can or plastic jar of food each time you come to TBO. 

We don’t want to have to turn anyone away.    

The specific food items we need are:

canned vegetables of corn, carrots, peas,

beans (red, pinto, garbanzo, baked or green beans), and mixed vegetables;

canned fruits of pears, peaches, fruit cocktail;

canned soups either hearty or condensed;

canned meats of tuna, chicken, Vienna sausage; canned pasta;

18oz jars of peanut butter; and, small jams and jellies.

 

Pick up your grocery bag at Rosh Hashanah services to fill and bring back on Yom Kippur.
