On behalf of our Board of Trustees and our congregation, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Temple Beth Orr
.
Temple Beth Orr has proudly been a vibrant force in the Broward County, Florida community for more than 35 years. We are the religious and spiritual home for individuals and families in Coral Springs, Parkland, Margate, Coconut Creek, Tamarac and beyond. We are affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, which serves Liberal and Progressive Jewish congregations throughout North America and we're proud to warmly welcome interfaith families.
I invite you to browse through our website to learn about Temple Beth Orr’s history and our exciting plans for the present and future. Before you begin browsing, please allow me to highlight a few items for you.
Please visit our Membership and Outreach Pages.
Our Clergy- Rabbi Mark Gross and Cantor Susan Weiss have been with Temple Beth Orr in excess of a combined thirty-five years. Rabbi Gross and Cantor Weiss were both educated in the Reform movement. Together, they create new worship and educational experiences for us on an ongoing basis. They are available to provide pastoral care in times of trouble or illness and to conduct life cycle events such as baby namings, weddings and funerals.
Our Shabbat Services– Come and worship with us. Join us for Friday evening Shabbat Services at 8:00 PM to experience the warmth, caring and spirituality of our multi-generational congregational family. Once each month, we meet for an earlier “Shabbat Experience” geared to families with young children. Following Services, we look forward to greeting congregants and visitors during the Oneg Shabbat. Our more traditional Shabbat Morning Worship and Torah Study are held on Saturdays at 10:00 A.M. and are open to all.
Our Quest for Lifelong Learning– We pride ourselves in offering educational opportunities for all ages and stages of life. From K’tonton Club for children through age 6, to Religious School for Kindergarteners through 12th grade, to Youth Groups and Adult Education offerings, we have programs to entice and interest all. We embrace you in whatever stage of Judaism you find yourself – from exploring to observant. We also happily welcome interfaith families to our congregation.
The Temple Beth Orr journey continues!! We hope to see you as a member of our Temple Beth Orr Community and invite you to join us on this journey!
B’Shalom,
Peggy Wilfong - President of Temple Beth Orr
