The concept of tzedakah -usually translated to mean "charity," but closer in meaning to righteousness or justice -- is a central commandment of Judaism. We are urged to incorporate acts of tzedakah into our daily lives. Charitable gifts have built and sustained our Temple throughout our history. Support from congregants continues to provide the means by which we unify our community.

DEDICATIONS
Yahrzeit Plaque In keeping with Jewish tradition, we observe the anniversary of a loved one's death. A Yahrzeit Plaque is a permanent reminder of the place they held in our lives. At Temple Beth Orr, Yahrzeit Plaques are displayed throughout the year on the Memorial Wall inside our Stephen and Helene Weicholz Sanctuary. The contribution for a Yahrzeit Plaque - $540 Member and $720 Non Member

Each leaf on the tree provides an opportunity for us to honor special people in our lives, life cycle events, such as Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, as well as those who have touched our lives, but are no longer with us. The contribution for a Tree of LIfe leaf - $360 Member and $540 Non Member
