WELCOME TO TEMPLE BETH ORR
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves.TBO is first and foremost a community of people who are interested in building relationships which strengthen our Jewish Culture and Jewish Religion.If you become a part of us, our obligation to you is:
To incorporate you into our community. If you are interested in us, we will find a way to help you and your family make your way into our family.
All new members are offered to be paired with an Ambassador family whose job it is to get you involved at the level you desire.
You are not a number to us. We are serious about finding out who you are, finding out what your needs are, then finding a way to get your needs met.
To get you and your family involved with the aspects of Temple Life in which you are interested, whether they are religious, educational, or social:
We will make sure you gain access to Temple groups.
We will help your children to not only get their educational needs met but their social needs as well.
If you want to be a part of us, it is our job to open those doors for you. We want you to feel your relationship with TBO enriches your life.
It is our intention to be inclusive. We welcome diverse people who can add to our strong community.
We do not discriminate. If you are not Jewish but interested in finding out more about our religion, we will be there to support you. If you are coming to support a Jewish spouse, then great! Our door and our hearts are open to you and your family. If you are unfamiliar with the religious aspects of the Temple, we will teach you how things work so you will be comfortable.If you want to know about our traditions, we will teach you that too.We take new members in with open arms and personal caring. We know that joining a congregation can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. It is our job to alleviate any questions or concerns by offering you face to face support.
