Trial Membership

The Board of Trustees of Temple Beth Orr is pleased to introduce our new initial year complementary Membership Program:
The first time you come to us for assistance in handling a Life Event - Beginning Religious School or Early Childhood Education, a Baby Naming, a Wedding, or a Funeral, as well as the purchase of High Holy day tickets, all that is necessary is for you to pay for the particular event and we will welcome you with a One Year Complementary Membership. This program is available for any member of the Jewish Community who has had no affiliation with Temple Beth Orr during the previous five years.
Why should you take advantage of this opportunity to get to know us and be a part of our Jewish home?
We can start with our Rabbi. Rabbi Marc Gross has been the leader of our congregation since 1986. Rabbi Gross combines the qualities of a brilliant Talmudic scholar with a warm, caring and charming personality that has earned him the love and admiration of his congregation.
Next would be our educational innovations and success. Our Early Childhood Center is NAEYC accredited and 5 star rated and is headed by director Eileen Kaplan. Our Religious School, headed by Ruth Schreiber-Greene has a long history of offering the finest Jewish religious education in Broward County. Proof of success and popularity is the large numbers of students who become B'Nei Mitzvah, then go on to participate in Hebrew High.
Most recently, we have added a new member to our staff: Cantorial Soloist, Rabbi Aviva Bass. Rabbi Bass majored in music while an undergraduate student at the University of Miami prior to her Rabbinic training. Rabbi Bass has a warm, charming and friendly personality and a truly beautiful voice. As a member, you might decide to become a member of Rabbi Bass's choir, or perhaps you might decide to join our volunteer band.
Last, but certainly not least, is our knowledgeable and helpful Executive Director Anne Maner. If you wish to begin your Life Event Introductory Membership with us, please call Anne at 954- 753 -3232, x 201. Anne is certain to greet you with her usual friendly and courteous manner.
