Garinim (Grades K-2)
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Marsi Taylor and it is my pleasure as Primary Youth Advisor to once again be in charge of the Garinim youth group, which encompasses kindergarten through second grade.
Garinim, which means seeds, is the youngest youth group at Temple Beth Orr. This is the group in which I introduce your child to the beginning of working together and learning from each other in an informal style.
Garinim meets once a month on a Sunday, before Religious School from 8:00 -9:30 am. I provide your child with breakfast and an exciting activity at each event. I will then walk your child to their religious school classroom. In order for your child to fully participate in the events, I ask that your child does not bring a cell phone. This year I will focus on the role each child plays in the Jewish family and community.
