Popcorn, candy, and soda were the signal that this was a movie night, but the large crowd and the energetic buzz indicated that it was much more than that. Over 145 people attended the screening of the award-winning documentary "A Bridge Life -- Finding Our Way Home" to celebrate the Grand Opening of TBO's new library on Nov. 30. Writer-producer-director Josh Grossberg was the special guest and answered questions about the film after the screening. Two of the subjects of the documentary also made a surprise appearance to the delight of the audience.
Education
Everyone from babies to bubbes can find an educational outlet at Temple Beth Orr. The youngest voices can be heard squealing in delight on our preschool playground or singing joyfully in the well appointed classrooms in the Kuhn Early Childhood Center.
Moving up the ladder, our religious school students have fun while learning about Judaism and seamlessly sliding into their bar/bat mitzvah studies. The bonds they form during these years, both with friends and temple life, cause many to continue on to our popularconfirmation and high school programs.
But learning is not just for children and teens! Our Life Long Learning options keep the adults’ minds active as well since learning is an ongoing process that can be enjoyed at any age.
