To our TBO family,

 There really are no words to express how wonderful this past weekend has been.  There are so many people to thank for all their hard work on the weekend festivities as well as thanking all the people who attended one or all of the events honoring Mark.  The sentiments in the ads in our new directory are so special, the photo montage and book, the music...EVERYTHING!  I particularly want to thank the committee for bringing our family here from 'out west' to celebrate with us. More than anything else, I hope you all recognize what a vibrant reflection this past weekend is of our TBO community.  I must add that it is truly amazing that so many people kept so much secret for so long!

On behalf of my wonderful committee members, as well as myself, I would like to thank everyone who participated in any and all of the events of Rabbi's 25th Anniversary Celebration weekend. Thanks to those of you who donated time, ideas, gifts and money to help make it a beautiful, spiritual, welcoming weekend for our members and the community-at-large. The responses and comments have been amazing, and very gratifying; and we have added a significant amount of money to TBO's coffers.
If you did not receive your membership directory, you may pick one up at the office...one copy per family, please.

 A huge thank you to all congregants who donated cans of food throughout the silver anniversary weekend celebration of Rabbi's tenure at Temple Beth Orr.  The Food Closet received the following totals: 476 cansthat weighed 540.5 pounds.  
   Congratulations to the winners of the Guessing Contest during the Family Fun Day celebration on Sunday, Nov 14th. There were 63 guesses.  The
closest guess without going over were by: Risa Demato with 440 cans and visitor Rob Kraft with 537 pounds.  Risa received a gift card to the Bella Ciao restaurant and tickets to the Broward Performing Arts Center performance of "Burn the Floor."  Rob received a Dinner and Movie packageconsisting of 2 gift cards of $25 each to Applebee's and an AMC theatre.
